BREAD OF LIFE

Are you hungry, as you travel
Thought this life of toils and care?
Are you weary, in your searching,
For true joys in life to share?

Are you thirsting for living water,
As you walk along this road?
There is someone who is waiting.
He has a table spread with love.

He has food to feed the hungry;
Wells of water to quench your thirst.
If you will only seek the Savior,
You will find the "I Am" who is first.

He is bread for all who hunger;
Living manna from on high.
If you take the love he offers,
You shall live and never die.

There is a banquet for all who seek him.
He invites us to 'come and dine'.
Within his Word are living waters
And 'Bread of Life', so true and kind.

Will you feast at the Mater's table,
Come and drink from his waters of life?
The cost was paid at Calvary's cross,
Where he died for sin, sorrow, and strife.

Today is the day to call on his holy name.
Open your heart's door and he will come in.
He is the true bread and supplies every need.
Try him, today, and find a true friend.
