A Savior is Born

One sweet night, down here on earth,
Mother Mary, to a Son, gave birth.
Hark! He was ALL that God promised
But, to always follow and adore Him we must.

He is Savior of the world, even today.
We, who love Him, expect Him to come our way.
He is the precious King of all Kings.
Goodness and mercy will He always bring.

In a stable, one cold and wondrous night,
Joseph and Mary brought unto us light.
Jesus, our Savior, was born in a stall.
He came to forgive sins; to the people, all.

He is still here, today, in a Christian's heart.
Believe in Him and from you, He'll never part.
Pure Love was born that night, so long ago;
Our sweet Savior, who'll go on loving us so.

In many thousands, He's the fairest of all.
God sent His Son, on His people to call.
He brought out the wise men; had to be.
He loved all men; yes, even you and me.

Thank you, dear God, for giving us a Savior,
To put in our hearts and mind our behavior.
Knowing we'll meet Him, one day, there on high -
Won't you confess Him as Lord? Give it a try.
