The First Christmas

Mary brought forth her firstborn son,
Wrapped Him up in swaddling clothes.
She laid Him in a manger,
because there was no room...
No room for them in the inn.
And, we found Love...
Love from the Mighty Creator of all.
Love from the angels, as they came to call
Love from the Heavens, a new star so bright
Love came to visit God's children that night!

Shepherds heard the angels sing
Of the tiny newborn King.
They found Him in a manger,
because there was no room...
No room for them in the inn.
And, we found Love...

Wise men brought their gifts so rare,
To the Babe so wondrously fair.
The wisest of all men will keep Him in their hearts.
Make room for Him in your heart
And you'll find Love...

Love from the Mighty Creator of all,

Love comes to visit God's children that night!
