His Grace Is Enough
There's a flower that still blooms within my soul.
It was planted by the Master, long ago.
He's the Lilly Of the Valley, my Bright and Morning Star,
And His love is still alive; here, in my heart.
I'm not looking for a mansion, here, on earth.
Jesus is my diamond in the rough
And, when I go to Him in prayer, He lifts me up.
Then, He whispers, low, "My grace will be enough."
Yes, His grace will be sufficient for my soul.
It's like a drink of living water, clear and cold,
And, when I reach His sacred fountain, I will sup;
Just knowing that His grace will be enough.
My heart doesn't yearn for superficial things
Like fancy clothes and cars, or emerald rings.
For, I know these things will only rot and rust,
And I'd rather have His grace and tender love.
Blessings:
