"I KNOW THE ONE WHO CAN"



If words could heal your brok'n hearts,
I'd send them straight to you.
But, words are little comfort for
this grief you're going through.

And, if I had a balm so rare 
'twould take away your pain,
I'd use such precious ointment -
cause your hearts to smile again,

No, on my own, my broken ones,
there is little I can do
except to add my faith to yours,
to know He'll see you through.

He's the ONE to whom I go
when hurt is too hard to bear,
the ONE upon whom I depend
to answer every prayer.

He IS the ONE I'm asking now
to make His presence known,
shelter you beneath His wings
'til all the heartache's gone.

Humans can't do this for you,
tho' intentions are so grand.
I just can't heal a brok'n heart.
BUT, I KNOW THE ONE WHO CAN!
