~ God's Chosen One ~



You are born into this great big world
And appointed once to die.
But, when God calls your children home
You weep and sob, and cry.

It's for yourselves that you are sad, 
Not for your child that's gone.
For, as Christians, you can surely know
That God reclaimed His own.

For her, you know you can rejoice.
For, she's better off than you.
So, until it's time for you to go,
To God's word you will be true.

For, the one that God has chosen
Surely walks on street of gold
And she will suffer no more pain,
Nor will she ever grow old.

She's living in her Heavenly Home,
A Mansion prepared by God.
She's reaping all the blessings
That were promised in God's word.

You, left behind, sure miss her.
But, Let your hearts be meek and mild.
For, God, Your Heavenly Father,
Chose..... to take home your little child.

She must have been so special
And, though you miss her so,
It's such a peace and comfort
That she's with God ... you know.

God must have wanted a special one
That was warm and not so loud.
He may have needed someone young,
Who would stand far above the crowd.

For, now, you cannot understand
Why your child was the chosen one.
But, you should count it such an honor
That God hand picked her for His Home.

Of course you'll always miss her
And this world is not the same.
But, when you pray 'His will be done',
You must pray it in His name.

So, until God's plan for all of you
Is in His time revealed,
You'll wait and watch the Eastern sky,
'Til His promises are fulfilled.

Then, in the twinkling of and eye,
You'll not know the time nor date,
You'll find your child with open arms;
Waiting for you at Heaven's gate.
