OUR SPECIAL ANGEL



God placed a special Angel in our arms for just awhile,
To fill our home with laughter, and to bless us with each smile.

Our darling little Angel brought us joy right from the start,
And how we loved her little ways that filled and warmed each heart.

We dreamed about the future, and her life that would unfold,
With family and friends around, while slowly growing old. 

We never could have been prepared to have our Angel leave.
And now our hearts are bruised and broken, as each day we grieve.

Our precious little Angel, we once held so tenderly, 
Has left our empty arms with just a tear-filled memory.

But now we know that Heaven surely is a brighter place,
Because it has the glow of our sweet little Angel's face. 

And we are looking forward to our meeting on that shore,
Where there’ll be no more sorrow--only joy forevermore.
