The Lord Is...

The Lord is my strength,
my light, and my shield.
To all of His wishes 
and words I shall yield.

When in total darkness,
He is my sight.
If I stumble and fall,
He lisfts me upright.

The Lord is my anchor,
my friend, and my guide.
He will not forsake me.
He will stay by my side.

He was my Savior,
when lost was my soul.
Through His grace and forgiveness,
His love made me whole.

He always corrects me...
you know, when I'm wrong.
And when my spirit grows weak,
His love keeps me strong.

The rock of salvation,
He is steady and true.
The blood, that He shed,
was for me and for you.

When I'm down in the valley,
he reaches for me;
Picks me up gently,
and sets my soul free.

The Lord is my fountain,
when I need a drink.
He keeps my soul above water.
He will not let me sink.
