A Soldier's Heart

Valiant and brave, and
Giving their life for all,
They are serving their country
And are answering the call...

To be willing to fight
For what they believe in
And what is right
Lives were lost and
Taken by the enemy.

Now out of the darkness,
They can see God's light.

Weary, lonely, and confused;
Marines, Air Force,
Navy and Army, Too ~
All fighting for
The Red, White, and Blue.

They have heart and
Will fight this war
Until the very end,
Believing in God
As they see and feel
His love transcend.

We came, we saw,
And we will conquer
Saddam and his evil ways.
Freedom lasts for eternity ~
Not just years, months, or days.

A soldier's heart is open and it is pure.
For, he loves his country
And is willing to lose his life.
That's for sure.

Still standing on the front line,
He is ready to die.

He leads the way,
And never goes astray,
Right out of the darkness
Just for our sake and
That takes a Soldier's Heart.
