Don’t Ever Think ...

Don’t ever think I don’t need you,
That your life doesn’t matter to me.
You’ve blessed me in so many areas;
Made me feel ecstasy.

Don’t ever think I don’t need you
Or appreciate your simple words.
Even though miles separate us,
Your spirit is known and heard.

Don’t ever think that Heaven
Would be just the same without you.
I always will want our friendship.
There’s so much I want us to do.

We might write a poem ‘cross the wave length,
Taking turns with a few words each day.
We might share a funny story,
Recall songs we’ve learned ‘long the way.

Just think of the fun, up in Heaven.
Just think of the places to see!
Don’t ever think I don’t need you
To share God’s Heaven with me!
