" DON'T WE ALL "
Noah built the ark
'Fore rains began to fall,
Then needed a Rainbow
Of God's promises.
Lord, don't We ALL?
Jonah, in rebellion,
Just refused to heed God's call
'Til, from inside his self-made prison;
Needed deliverance.
Don't We ALL?
Moses offered excuses
'Fore freeing Hebrews in
Bitterest gall; needed respite
From the desert, God's direction.
Don't We ALL?
Job, in anguish,
Lost children and wealth by
Gleeful Satan's call; needed
God's merciful intervention,
Brother, don't We All?
The Virgin Mary
Brot' forth Jesus, in a dusky
Animal's stall; needed
Guidance for the future.
My friends, don't We ALL?
Disciples of Jesus,
Facing mountains of doubt so tall,
Needed reassurance, after Calvary,
He'd never leave them.
Don't We ALL?
In Upper Room,
The Holy Spirit baptized
Those gather'd wall to wall;
Who needed overcoming POWER.
Still, don't We ALL?
Love ~ Faith ~ Hope,
Deliverance from every chain 'n ball;
For those, whose LORD
Is Jesus, find Salvation.
DON'T WE ALL?
