    For Everything Other Than Windows Vista, Please Scroll On Down.

    1.4.2_xx  through 1.6.0_07xx


SYMPTOMS

Applets do not run.

CAUSE, Java is not installed or is not enabled.

SOLUTION, Download the latest version of Java. Do This First !

Please follow these instructions to enable the Sun Java though your Web browser:

* Internet Explorer Windows Vista IE 7. - The not so user friendly version of Windows.
* This Section Covers Every Java Option Windows Vista May Have !

  1. Click 'Tools'; --> 'Internet Options';  < This is at the top of your browser.
  2. Select the Advanced Tab, and scroll down until you see - Java (Sun)
  3. Check the box next to the 'Use 'Java (Sun)' JRE 1.6.0_07 for <applet> (requires restart)'
  4. Next, select the Security Tab, and select the 'Custom Level' button
  5. Scroll down to 'Scripting of Java applets' You may need to scroll down a ways to find it.
  6. Make sure the "Enable" radio button is checked.
  7. Click OK to save your preference.
  8. Next, Restart Your Computer And Return To This Page For The Final Steps.

* Internet Explorer Windows Vista Final Steps. Enabling Java.

  1. Open an Internet Explorer browser window. Since you are here you've already done that.
  2. At the top of your browser Click on the Tool button.
  3. In the window that loads, choose to "Show: Add-ons or it may say Manage Add-ons that are being used by Internet Explorer, and Click on that so it shows your Add-ons.
  4. In this list of Add-ons you want to find the " Java Plug-in ". Click "Java Plug-in 1.6.0" (or choose the latest Java version that displays in your list). Click on the Java Plug-in one time so it is highlighted. Finally, you will see a button at the bottom of the window that says Enable. Mouse Click so the Enable is checked. Now simply click Apply / OK .
  5. Note: If you did not see " Java Plug-in " in the list, there is one other option that may be
    there to Enable Java. Do just as you did in Step 4. But look for " Enable Java Console ".
    Locate it and highlight it as described in step 4.  Mouse Click so the Enable is checked. Now simply click Apply / OK .
  6. In both Steps 4. and or 5. it will say you need to restart Internet Explorer. Simply close
    Internet Explorer & re-open it. Java should now be Enabled you will be able to get in the

Java Runtime Environment (JRE) is not enabled in the web browser. If the JRE is already installed but applets do not work, you may need to enable the JRE through your web browser.

SOLUTION

Please follow these instructions to enable the Sun JRE though your Web browser:

Internet Explorer 4.x and Up

  1. Click 'Tools'; --> 'Internet Options';

  1. Start Mozilla Firefox browser or restart it if it is already running.
  2. Select Tools > Options.
  3. Dialog box: Options
  4. Click Web Features > Select Enable Java

AOL 3.x and Up
