"When the time is right I will see you again."
The young girl said with her eyes full of tears
as she watched the nurse leave with her newborn.

She could have given the child love but love was not
enough in today's world. A home with food,
clothing and schooling she just could not afford. With
out these things giving the child up for adoption
was her only choice because it was the best
for her child.

She went to sleep with the child on her mind and
she woke up remembering the sound of his cry.
Every time she heard a child cry she would
look and wonder
"Is that the child I didn't get to hold?"

Arriving home from town one day she found someone
waiting at her door. She new the minute they spoke
that the 'Time was right now' and the hurt could ease.
For standing beside her was the child she thought
she would never see.
