Renewal Of Life
Torrential rains cease, unmasking sun-kissed skies;
Leaving the beholder feeling somewhat bemused.
In an instant of time, the heavens transform
From darkness to light and renewal of life is transfused.
Flowers bent as though broken from the storm,
Suddenly perk up their pert little heads.
Animals, who took refuge wherever they could,
Come out of hiding - seeking sun-warmed beds.
Life has its reason, rhyme and rhythm;
Yielding to no conductor but the One from above.
His heavenly orchestra plays a divine symphony,
Resonating with octaves of pure love.
We question the seasons, the heat and the cold;
While the Master knows all we can't see.
They come, as they will, in His perfect timing.
Never to early or late will they be.
How can any question His existence, I wonder,
Where He's proven Himself time and again?
There's no way mere science can reduce His being
To a relative theory introduced by Darwin.
When will we admit that life is too complex
For imperfect man to attempt to explain?
The miracle of birth and renewal of life,
Is something only the Lord God can maintain.
